How to get the most from Affirmations

What is the best way to get the most out of your daily affirmations? To truly feel them. We can all state affirmations daily, which may make us feel good to read and hear them. But are we genuinely feeling them in our souls?


When I started with affirmations, I was doing them for work. Work taught me to write affirmations constructed with my goals into a fill-in-the-blank statement 25 times a day for 28 days. Doing this would activate my RAS (I mentioned this a few blog posts ago) and make any signs from the Universe more noticeable.  


Why not try? So I did, and I put down goals I had for my sales job of 4 transactions per month. I wrote them over and over and over again. But I knew that was so much more than I had ever done and didn't feel it in my heart that it was something I could achieve. I was blocking myself, and I didn't even know it. 


So I decided to try another way; I wrote daily what I wanted and felt in my heart that it could be mine. Guess what? It worked. So I tried another one, and it, too, worked. I could manifest about half of the affirmations I created for myself of what I wanted. The other half, I am still working to find the right words to inspire me into action so I can also manifest them.  


In the long run, you need to feel and repeat your affirmations until you fully believe it is yours for the taking and see the signs to follow to get what you desire.
